2010 World Poker Championship
The World Poker schedule for the year 2010 is out. This will be the 41st poker series and the series is scheduled to begin on 27th May and end on 9th November 2010. It is estimated that a sizeable number of WSOP bracelets, 27 in total will be available for the year 2010.
The 2010 World Poker series on May 29th will see the beginning of the $500 Casino Employees No Limit Hold’em. This is a long series and will continue till the 9th of November, the final day of the series however is reserved especially to crown the 2010 World Poker Champion.
The first day of the main event is said to be scheduled for the 5th of July 2010. After a few elimination rounds the final participant for the final table will be announced. The real battle among the finalist is said to start by 17th July. The final table for the ‘November Nine’ finale will be held from 6th November to 9th November.
There are however a few changes that you will notice in this World Championship
There will be no $50k HORSE Championship. The Players Championship of $50,000 which is the 2nd Event will be held. This will feature 8 different games.
A new NLHE which is 6 handed if $25,000 is something new that is added to the schedule.
A new HORSE Championship of $10,000 will be added to event no 43.
There will also be a few other changes like the inclusion of a few more poker tables. The Championship pre-registration for 2010 can be obtained through WSOP.com or through the Main Cage at the Rio.
