Poker Pro Magazine to Announce A Special Edition for Canada

Although it’s only been five years for the Poker Pro Magazine, it has already established a huge fan following and circulation base that has crossed 150,000 copies for a month. Although the publication is currently available in Canada and the U.S. the company is ready to looking at giving its Canadian readers something special.

A new regional version of the Poker Pro magazine is all set to launch, this news had been released by Poker Pro. The edition of the publication to be released in Canada will showcase in-depth profiles of Canadian players, news and updates from the poker scene in the country as well as tips and strategies that will help the novice.

Johny “JohnnyQuads” Wenzel who is the Pro Executive Editor of the magazine Poker Pro Media explained about what motivated him and his team in launching the new magazine. During press release he said, “Some say this is a time of contraction for print media, but we’re bullish on the Canadian market. The game is exploding in Canada and we intend to provide enthusiasts with a slick, upscale magazine that will be fun to read and will also improve their bottom line at the tables.”

Ofcourse without a doubt, Wenzel struck the nail on the head, as during the past few months, Canada has been brimming over with poker action. A few tournaments that took place there were the Fallsview Poker Classic at the Niagara Falls, British Columbia Poker Championship etc. not only have they been churning out excellent tournaments, but some of the best well known poker players have been making their presence felt in these tournaments.
